Philosophy
Emergency nursing is one of the most challenging specialties as it can be extremely fast paced, requiring lighting bolt critical thinking and problem solving skills. Efficiency and safety is a must in this career but kindness and empathy is crucial to create a good connection and to build trust with the patient and their loved ones. There is an indescribable beauty behind the chaos of the ER and an immense sense of achievement after saving someone else's life.

My Story
After experiencing two heart surgeries as a young child I was always surrounded by medical personal who were incredibly kind and patient with me and my family. Throughout the process I encountered many nurses who made the hospital stay less scary and helped me overcome the fear of hospitals. They always took the time to explain to me what was happening with my heart and in doing so, they ignited a spark of curiosity about the way the human body works and how to take care of it when conditions or diseases affect it. As an emergency RN, I am devoted to return the kindness and care to patients from all ages and all walks of life.
